The salon table structure had developed cracks after experiencing rougher sea conditions. The original construction used lightweight materials and fiberglass, but one area had not received enough reinforcement. The crew carefully removes the damaged material, exposes the core, prepares the surface, and rebuilds the structure with additional fiberglass layers and epoxy to strengthen the problem area.

The episode also follows the restoration of a boat door, including removing old hardware, sanding, repairing damaged areas, preparing the surface, and applying protective coatings. Meanwhile, other projects around the boat continue as the crew works toward completing everything before departure.
